Kim knew from an early age that she would be in
business, “Just like my dad.” And she always knew she could
sell because, “I was more gregarious than my older sister.
When the time came for us to raise money for school by
selling candy bars, she was mortified. I always volunteered
to do it for her. She was so grateful.”
After graduating with a Business Degree from Oregon State
University, Kim was one of six women selected out of a
thousand person sales force by International Paper to sell
corrugated boxes. “The first year all the top salespeople
got ties with the International Paper logo printed on it,”
Kim remembers laughing, “The next year the women got
scarves.”
After twenty years of marketing and selling software, Kim is
now selling real estate in Seattle. You can visit her
